MATALA BEACH FESTIVAL 2026
The festival will take place in Matala from 19 to 21 June 2026.

Description of Granting of Use of Catering Areas Festival 2026

A) The company under the name MATALA MUNICIPALITY OF PHAISTOS SINGLE-MEMBER S.A.» with VAT No. 096205941, Heraklion Tax Office, with registered office in Pitsidia, Municipality of Phaistos, hereinafter and for the sake of brevity referred to as “A”.

B) Companies whose business activity is catering services, hereinafter referred to as “B”.

Information

A. organizes the Festival under the name “MATALA BEACH FESTIVAL 2026”, which will take place in Matala from 19 to 21 June 2026. B are engaged in catering services.

1) Subject of Granting and Services

A grants B the use of an outdoor area in the Matala parking area, so that each B may provide catering services to the festival visitors from 19 to 21 June.

The services will include the provision of food and beverages, the supply of all necessary items for the presentation of the food, as well as the removal of waste during and after the event. The positions are numbered for each installation.

2) Production and Storage Location

Production and storage will take place at the entrance of the Matala parking area, on the right, in front of the biological treatment pumping station and also opposite the installation.

The following structures will be placed in the area around and opposite the biological treatment station in an I Γ shape:

  1. 4 kiosks measuring 3x6 meters, around the biological treatment station. The service provider must bring their own installations following written agreement with the organization. Food Category.
  2. 1 kiosk measuring 3x6 meters, opposite the biological treatment station. The service provider must bring their own installations following written agreement with the organization. Food Category.
  3. 2 kiosks measuring 3x6 meters, opposite the biological treatment station. The service provider must bring their own installations following written agreement with the organization. Dessert Category.

Remarks

  1. The installation shall follow the specifications of the organization.
  2. The placement of tables and chairs beyond those designated by the organizing authority is not permitted.
  3. The costs for the installation of the 3x6 kiosk shall be borne by B.
  4. The costs for the plumbing installation are the responsibility of A.
  5. The costs for the electrical installation up to the supply point with panel are the responsibility of A.
  6. A is obliged to facilitate B during the takeover of the use of the areas, while also providing electricity for production and distribution, as well as for their trucks.
  7. Music will be provided exclusively by the organizing authority during the three-day event. Individual interventions in the catering areas are not permitted.
  8. The above area will be delivered to B on 16/06/2026 and will be returned to A exactly as received on 22/06/2026.

3) Menu

The food and beverages to be provided will be described in detail in the agreement, and all products must be compatible with the official sponsors and partners designated by the Matala Beach Festival Committee.

The catering categories are indicatively defined as follows:

  1. Food Category (Street Food / Main Food Concepts) as described in installations 2.1. and 2.2: Souvlaki, grill, burger, hot dog, pizza, pasta / macaroni dishes, asian / chinese / wok, mexican / tex-mex, sandwiches, club sandwich, chicken street food, BBQ concepts, seafood street food, vegetarian / vegan street food, healthy & fresh food concepts, brunch concepts, ethnic / fusion cuisine, finger food, loaded fries, Cretan and Greek cuisine, wraps, tortillas, pitas, salad bars, healthy bowls, bakery concepts, savory pastry concepts and other street food and catering categories.
    The food category may offer water, soft drinks and beer, always in accordance with the partnerships and sponsors of the organization.
  2. Dessert Category (Dessert Concepts) as described in installations 2.3.: Ice cream, soft ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt, crepes, waffles, loukoumades, pancakes, churros, donuts, bubble waffles, milkshakes, cheesecake concepts, cookies, brownies, chocolate concepts, candy bars, acai bowls, fruit bowls, smoothies, pastry concepts, coffee concepts, juices, fresh juices and other dessert and dessert street food categories.
    The dessert category may offer water, juices and soft drinks, always in accordance with the partnerships and sponsors of the organization.

4) Financial Details

Upon signing this document, the corresponding amount shall be deposited into A’s bank account.

If the contracting party is unable to pay the specified amount upon signing the agreement, they may pay 50% of the agreed amount upon signing, while the remaining amount must be fully paid no later than one (1) week before taking over the area.

Description of Granting of Use of Expo & Catering Areas Festival 2026

1) Subject of Granting and Services

A grants B the use of an outdoor area on the municipal road of Matala from the bend / bus stop to the carved olive tree, so that each B may provide expo or catering services to the festival visitors from 19 to 21 June 2026.

The services will include the sale of handicraft items, etc., or the provision of food and beverages. The positions are numbered for each installation.

5) Location and Description of Expo & Catering

The expo is divided into 4 categories.

Interested parties should also have the necessary legal craftsperson license or business commencement license, etc.

Payment Method

Upon signing the agreement, the total amount shall be deposited as an advance payment into A’s bank account within 3 working days.

Description of Granting of Use of Beach Bar Areas Festival 2026

A) The company under the name MATALA MUNICIPALITY OF PHAISTOS SINGLE-MEMBER S.A.» with VAT No. 096205941, Heraklion Tax Office, with registered office in Pitsidia, Municipality of Phaistos, hereinafter and for the sake of brevity referred to as “A”.

B) Companies whose business activity is BEACH BAR catering services, hereinafter referred to as “B”.

Information

A. organizes the Festival under the name “MATALA BEACH FESTIVAL 2026”, which will take place in Matala from 19 to 21 June 2026. B are engaged in catering services.

6) Subject of Granting and Services

A grants B the use of an outdoor area on Matala beach, so that each B may provide BEACH BAR catering services to the festival visitors from 19 to 21 June 2026.

The services will include the provision of coffee, breakfast and drinks, the supply of all necessary items for the presentation of the items, as well as the removal of waste during and after the event. The positions are numbered for each installation.

7) Production and Storage Location

Production and storage will take place on Matala beach, in front and to the right of the central concert stage.

The following structures will be placed in the area:

  1. 1 BEACH BAR with a shaded area of 200 square meters, with usable beach bar space up to 100 sq.m. The service provider may bring their own installations following written agreement with the organization.
  2. 1 BEACH BAR with a shaded area of 40 square meters, with usable beach bar space up to 20 sq.m. The service provider may bring their own installations following written agreement with the organization.

Remarks

  1. The installation shall follow the specifications of the organization.

  8. The above area will be delivered to B on 15/06/2026 and will be returned to A exactly as received on 22/06/2026.

8) Menu

The breakfast to be provided will be described in detail in the agreement.

The drinks to be provided will be described in detail in the agreement and must all be compatible with the sponsors designated by the Matala Beach Festival Committee.

9) Financial Details

The amount for the above granting is defined for the two areas:

  1. 1 BEACH BAR with a shaded area of 200 square meters, with usable beach bar space up to 100 sq.m. The service provider may bring their own installations following written agreement with the organization.
  2. 1 BEACH BAR with a shaded area of 40 square meters, with usable beach bar space up to 20 sq.m. The service provider may bring their own installations following written agreement with the organization.

Payment Method

  1. BEACH BAR with a shaded area of 200 square meters.
  2. BEACH BAR with a shaded area of 40 square meters.
  • Upon signing this document, an advance payment of 12,000.00 euros shall be deposited into A’s bank account.
  • The settlement of the remaining amount of 6,600.00 euros shall be made by 10/06/2026 by deposit into the same bank account.
